Responsibilities:

Conduct initial assessments, including interviews, psychological testing, and reviewing medical records, to evaluate clients mental health conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to their specific needs and diagnoses.
Collaborate with clients to establish treatment goals and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Monitor and evaluate clients progress throughout therapy sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Document and maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessment reports, in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Stay up to date with current research and advances in the field of psychology, incorporating evidence-based practices into therapy sessions.
Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary, ensuring client safety and well-being.
Collaborate and consult with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and ensure integrated treatment approaches.
Educate clients, families, and caregivers about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for coping and managing symptoms.
Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards set by relevant licensing boards and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

Hold a Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
Possess a valid and active license as a Clinical Psychologist in Maryland and the state where services will be provided.
Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing treatment plans.
Proven expertise in delivering evidence-based therapy approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or other relevant modalities.
Experience working with diverse and multicultural clienteles and professionals in other disciplines to provide an interdisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with diverse client populations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other professionals.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong ethical grounding and adherence to professional standards of practice.
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and proficient computer skills.
Maintain confidentiality and respect for client privacy.
Minimum of 15 session hour per week
Paneled with BCBS, Cigna, and TriCare (East) Select. If you are not paneled with any of these insurance companies, we will help you with the credentialling process (can take 90 to 120 days).
Attend bimonthly staff/peer consultation meetings (optional).
