Dr. Kirimlis is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Maryland. She earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) both in Clinical Psychology at the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, at Arlington, VA. She completed her predoctoral internship at Contemporary Therapeutic Services providing individual and family therapy as well as psychological evaluations in this culturally diverse outpatient mental health clinic. She has experience in a variety of environments including inpatient psychiatric care, intensive outpatient treatment and forensic settings and has been working in private practice for the past 10 years. Dr. Kirimlis has a particularly strong history working with adolescents, but also across the lifespan regarding issues of ADHD and executive functioning, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal concerns, among others. Additionally, Dr. Kirimlis conducts a variety of psychological evaluations, including immigration evaluations.

Dr. Kirimlis provides a safe and comfortable environment in which to discuss difficult topics such as family dynamics, depressive thoughts, anxious experiences, and painful, traumatic interactions. Relationships guide our lives and by gaining insight into our true feelings and perceptions, we can learn how to live and interact in a more beneficial and peaceful way. Whether it be figuring out difficult personality styles, becoming more educated about ADHD and executive functioning, identifying how to quiet our negative thoughts, or figuring out the patterns we have developed, Dr. Kirimlis helps individuals and families improve their relationships with themselves and each other. Therapy is a very personal and unique experience and the fit between client and therapist is paramount to the positive effects of treatment. Only through a sense of comfort and genuine support, will therapy offer benefit.
